Frozen & Leaking Pipes
Frozen Pipes
Winter often results in extreme cold temperatures that can cause frozen pipes. If the frozen pipe is not taken care of, it could burst once thawed. This can become an expensive home disaster. If your pipes become frozen, we can thaw them before further damage can occur.
How To Prevent Frozen Pipes:
- Make sure your external pipes are insulated and not exposed.
- Keep a faucet slightly running to help keep water moving through your pipes in extremely cold weather.
- Ensure basement windows and doors are weathered stripped.
Leaking Pipes
It doesn’t matter how much or little water your pipe is leaking, repairing a leak is not something to put off. A leak in your home can be a big problem, especially if you don’t catch it in time. However, a leak doesn’t need to be a huge stress with Northridge Plumbing.
Not sure you have a leak, look for the following:
- Water spots around the baseboards
- Peeling paint
- Warped wood
- Strange smells

Brian came right out and took a look at what we needed. He delivered on what he promised, did a great job and didn't give us the run around. When we need a plumber we know who to call. Give them a call, they are great!
